But did you know that you can say even more?

    Change the Cursor, for instance.

This piece has what you need to know if you want to do that.

How to Change the Cursor on a Chromebook

Changing the Cursor on a Chromebook is explained in this part. Let’s say you want to use something other than the default cursor on your Chromebook. To make it more interesting, you have many options.

Chromebook users can change the cursors differently, relying on how amazing they want them to be.

If all you want to do is change the size or color of the Cursor, you can do this in a few easy steps in Settings. However, those who want something more interesting must download an app from a third party.

    From Settings

    1.  Start up your Chromebook and open the System menu. Guide to the bottom right corner and click the time if you need help with how to do this.
    2.  Choose the gear icon at the top to open Settings when the System menu appears.
    3.  You’ll see a menu on the left when you open the Settings window. Select Accessibly. Select Advanced to show a new menu below if you can’t find this tab.
    4. Pick the second option, “Manage accessibility features,” and then choose “Mouse and touchpad” from this menu.
    5.  There are different options for the Cursor here—select Show large mouse cursor to change the size of the Pointer. When you click the toggle, it will be set to large by default, but you can make it medium or small with the Adjust cursor size option you’ll see below.

Other options enable you to customize tap and drag options and highlight the Cursor while moving it. Do you want to change the speed of your Cursor or the way it scrolls? This can be done in the Device and Touchpad settings, which you can access from the Settings panel.

Note that you can enable the Accessibility shortcut in your System menu; you can skip some of these steps.

    Third-Party Apps

Download a Chrome extension to enable you to change more cursor features. Several options work well on Chromebooks. We suggest My Cursor or Custom Cursor because they have large cursor libraries where you can find something you like. It’s okay if the Cursor changes back to the normal one when you use Android or Linux apps. The Chrome plugins we’ve talked about don’t work with these apps.

Mac makes it effortless to change your Pointer’s size, shape, and fill color. However, if you run an older macOS version, these options might not be available in Settings. If that’s the case, we’ve provided a list of options below to help you customize your Cursor.

    Option 1

You might not be capable to change the color of the Cursor but try this. You can make it easier to find the Cursor on the screen if you move the slider next to the Display contrast. There are different shades of color.

    Option 2

The option to locate can be enabled. If you can’t see the Cursor on the screen, this function lets you move your finger quickly on the touchpad or move the Mouse quickly (or shake it) to make the Cursor bigger for a few seconds. This will make it easier to find.

    Option 3

Let’s say you want the Cursor always to be bigger. In that case, please navigate to the second option and drag the Cursor to make it bigger or smaller.

Depending on what version of Mac OS your computer is running, the steps may be different. For example, you might need to click Universal Access instead of Accessibility. The button will still be in the same spot in the System Preferences panel, though.

    Changing the Cursor in Linux

And what if Linux is running on your Dell? Here’s how to change the Cursor, even though you can only pick a different size.

    1.  Select the down arrow in the Ubuntu Dash, then navigate to the top right corner of your screen. After that, click Settings.

    2.  When the Settings window opens, pick Universal Access from the left-hand menu. Ubuntu Settings Menu - 2

    Where to Download New Cursors

Are you unhappy with the options your computer gives you? We’ve already discussed using a third-party app or plugin to download and install fun new cursors on your computer.

No matter which library you download from, these cursors usually come in packs with a theme. There may also be a plan or Scheme. Both of these ways are easy.

If you download a theme pack, it will quickly be applied when you double-click the file. This is because most packs have an installation file that makes them easy to use.

If you want to download a scheme, you may have to click a few more times. First, you should open the folder and locate it. Then, the inf file after the download is complete. Next, right-click on it when you find it and wait for a menu to drop down. Choose Install after that. Then, follow the steps in the Windows 10 part.

When you open Pointers, you will visit the newly downloaded package in the drop-down menu under Scheme.

If you need to know which cursor libraries to visit, we suggest Open Cursor Library or Cursors 4 U, where you can see all types of cursor sets. Also, using Chrome, you can find new styles by installing the Custom Cursor extension.
