Removing an image from iCloud will go to the “Recently Deleted” album, which will stay for 30 days.   1. Sign into your iCloud account using your browser.
  2.  Go to “Photos” and tap “Select” in the top right corner of the screen.
  3.  Click on the images you want to delete.
  4.  Tap the trash can icon and then hit “Delete” on the pop-up message to confirm that you want to remove the file.

  3. Choose “Photos” and scroll down until you see “iCloud Photo Library.”
  4.  To stop syncing with iCloud, slide the switch to the OFF position.
  5.  Go to “System Preferences” and pick “iCloud” from the list.
  6.  Tap “Photos,” then “Options,” and then uncheck “iCloud Photos.”
  7.  Go to the Photos app and long-press the image you want to delete.
  8.  When an option pops up, click “Delete” and confirm your choice.

The image will now be subtracted from your device, but your iCloud photo will stay.

How to Delete Photos From My Photo Stream

When the My Photo Stream app is turned on on your device, it will make two copies of your photo, which will take up a lot of space. Conversely, removing pictures from the app will free up valuable storage space.

  1.  Click “Albums” in “Photos.”
  2.  Select the images you want to delete by tapping “My Photo Stream.”

  3.  Press the trash can icon and then hit “Delete Photos” to finish.

The My Photo Stream app has now been updated to remove your images.
