Is There An ESPN Plus Free Trial? No, Not Anymore

ESPN Plus Free Trial

ESPN Plus does not provide a free trial period. More precisely, ESPN Plus no longer provides a free trial. While many streaming services offer consumers to watch for free to test their service, an increasing number of companies are removing the option. ESPN Plus was one of them, but it no longer offers a free trial to consumers. ESPN Plus is a wonderful option for consumers who want to stream sports on the internet. Even though it is not identical to ESPN, the Plus version provides access to a wealth of additional sports content, including original programming. However, there is an additional expense for which streamers must determine whether they are prepared to pay each month for access.

A free trial may be an excellent method to test a service before paying for a subscription. Unfortunately, ESPN Plus isn’t one of the many services that offer a free trial. The service offered a free trial; however, that option was removed in 2020. Consumers who sign up through the ESPN website today must make the initial monthly payment before watching any live or on-demand sports. Disney Plus and Hulu Live TV, like ESPN Plus, no longer offer a free trial, and this is not by chance. Because the Walt Disney Company owns ESPN Plus, Disney Plus, and Hulu, this is a company decision rather than one exclusive to ESPN Plus. This signals that the free trial option will not come to ESPN Plus anytime soon.

The Disney Bundle Could Be An ESPN+ Solution

Depending on a consumer’s position and the streaming services to which they are currently signed, the Disney Bundle may result in a free ESPN+ subscription. Of course, this will only be an option for some, but it is worth considering for those who currently have basic Hulu and Disney+. Even if you subscribe to one of these services, the two extra subscriptions may be worthwhile. This is why.

The normal ESPN Plus subscription is $6.99 per month. On the other hand, the Disney Bundle costs $13.99 per month and includes access to Disney+, basic Hulu, and ESPN+. A Disney Plus subscription costs $7.99 per month, and a Basic Hulu subscription costs $6.99 per month, so customers who subscribe to both services are already paying $14.98 per month. Subscribers who convert to the Disney Bundle save money on their monthly bill and get ESPN Plus for free. In addition, after switching to the Disney Bundle, the user may use the same account information to check in to the ESPN apps or website.

As previously said, even if you subscribe to one of these services, it may be worthwhile to consider upgrading to the Disney Bundle. If a household already pays $7.99 per month for Disney+, the same household may acquire access to both Hulu and ESPN Plus for an extra $6 per month. It’s effectively a buy one, get one bargain at this point. Of course, if you still need to pay for either of these subscriptions and have no plans to start paying for either, the Disney Bundle won’t help you acquire ESPN Plus.

You can obtain ESPN Plus plus the Disney Bundle for free if you have Verizon Wireless. This discount only applies to Verizon’s 5G Get More or 5G Play More plans; however, those customers are eligible for the Disney Bundle at no additional cost. If the consumer is on one of these qualified plans, the option to add the Disney Bundle should be available in the Verizon account settings.

ESPN Plus Free Trial Conclusion:

ESPN Plus does not provide a free trial period. The service used to; however, it was discontinued in 2020. Since there has been no option for consumers to test out ESPN Plus before paying. Although free trials are a convenient way to try out a new service, many prominent streaming services have begun to remove the option. Consumers, for example, may no longer sign up for a free trial of ESPN Plus, HBO Max, Disney Plus, or Netflix.

However, there are several general options to obtain ESPN Plus for free.
