    5. Depression

    Teenagers are frequently affected by this mood disorder. It changes a child’s thoughts, actions, and feelings in a big way. Usually, they are sad or angry for a longer time. The fact that they sit still in the dark makes their behavior seem odd in general.

    6. Psychosis

    It’s a serious mental illness that makes teens lose touch with reality. It often begins to affect individuals in late adolescence. This person needs the right kind of care and skilled help.

    7. Suicide

    Teens may reach the point where they believe suicide is the only way out due to cyber bullying, body shaming, teasing, bad peer relationships, and several other things. A single chat or movie can make teens want to die.

    Who Is More Prone to Mental Illness?

    Kids of any age or situation can have mental health issues. However, kids are more likely to experience these issues in specific situations. Here are some examples of these situations:

    • A history of mental sickness in the family
    • A lot of new refugees and foreigners
    • teens who have changed a lot, like where they live or or school
    • Teens who have been through a major trauma
    • Are you bisexual, gay, or transgender?
    • Substance abuse issues among teenagers

Children may feel afraid or embarrassed to share certain things with their parents. Knowing things ahead of time is better than not knowing them at all.
